Premenstrual syndrome, which affects - in varying degrees - an estimated 40% of all women in their reproductive years, is characterized by physical, emotional and psychological changes that coincide with the hormonal changes of the menstrual cycle. More than 150 symptoms are associated with PMS, including mood swings, weight gain, decreased concentration, joint and muscle pain, fatigue and nausea. While scientists have not yet identified any single cause of PMS, a combination of genetic, physiological and environmental factors are most likely involved.

"I have suffered from intense headaches for the past three years. Other doctors prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs and tranquilizers. Some even said I was crazy. Eventually, I quit visiting these doctors and endured the pain. Since I have been under Dr. Wonson's care, my PMS has improved, I've lost weight and am completely free of pain. She really cares!"
