Sneezing? Scratchy throat? Watery eyes? Everyone knows the first signs of a cold. Although symptoms usually last a week or less, individuals in the United States suffer through one billion colds a year, according to recent statistics. Adults catch between two to four colds a year, while children average between six and ten. The common cold is a leading cause of doctors' visits, job absenteeism and missed days of school.

"At least twice a year, I have been hit with a severe head cold that takes a significant toll both personally and professionally. This year, tired of looking at the world through watery eyes and carrying tissues by the handful, I made an appointment with Dr. Wonson. After a thorough verbal and physical evaluation, Dr. Wonson recommended a combined treatment of acupuncture and herbal remedies. Almost immediately, I was able to breathe more normally, and my condition continued to improve throughout the afternoon and into a night of sound slumber."
