During the 90-minute Initial Visit, Dr. Wonson asks detailed questions about specific symptoms and ailments, and compiles a "lifestyle profile" based on medical history, emotional well-being, nutritional intake and other lifestyle factors. A thorough physical examination is then performed, which may include a spinal examination, physical observations and/or other diagnostic procedures. Finally, Dr. Wonson works closely with you to chart a course of treatment, which can vary in frequency, intensity and duration according to individual needs and preferences. Treatments begin
only when you are ready, and services may be concluded or extended
at any time.
Tips for a Successful Initial Visit:
Communicate! Dr. Wonson loves to listen. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
Clearly state any medical problems you might have, as well as long-term health goals.
Wear loose clothing for increased comfort. Women should avoid wearing one-piece dresses, jewelry and tight-style stockings.
Try to eat one to two hours before your appointment so that you are not excessively hungry or full.
Relax! Remember, you are doing something that's good for you!
